New: 116 Wier Isolated DC-DC Converters, 6 W to 40 W

We have added 116 isolated DC-DC converters from Wier to the catalogue, across seven series. They are listed and searchable now.

What is new

• HVQ6, HVQ10, HVQ15, HVQ20, HVQ30 and HVQ40 — six series covering 6 W, 10 W, 15 W, 20 W, 30 W and 40 W.
• HVR10 — a 10 W range in a compact 2 × 1 inch footprint.
• 83 single-output and 33 dual-output parts, across nine output voltages.

Why we added them

The range fills gaps at the lower end of our isolated DC-DC listing, and it includes output voltages that come up regularly but are not always easy to find off the shelf. 18 V and ±9 V are both covered — useful in audio and instrumentation work, where those rails are common and the alternative is an awkward custom order.

Wier also offer chassis-mount and DIN-rail mounting options on these ranges, which is unusual at this power level and can save a separate carrier or bracket in a panel build. Ask us if you need one quoted.

Finding them

The new parts sit alongside our existing isolated through-hole converters, so the parametric filters work across the whole range — narrow by wattage, output voltage or number of channels and compare the options side by side.
