3D STEP Models Now Available on Arch Power Supplies

Mechanical fit is often decided long before a power supply is ordered, and a drawing with three critical dimensions on it does not always settle the question. We have therefore published 36 downloadable 3D models in STEP format, now linked from 86 Arch Electronics product pages.

What you get

• STEP (.stp) geometry, the neutral format that every mainstream mechanical CAD package will import.
• A 3D Models section on the product page, alongside the datasheet.
• Models covering the connector variants as well as the base units, so the part you place is the part you order.

Why it is worth the download

Real geometry lets you check the things a dimensioned drawing tends to gloss over: clearance to the lid, whether the terminal block is actually reachable once the unit is in place, how the fixing centres land on your chassis, and whether the mating connector and its cable bend radius will fit in the space left. Those are exactly the problems that are cheap to solve on screen and expensive to solve on a built panel.
