Easier Navigation: Department, Group, Category

As the catalogue has grown, some departments had a very long list of categories. We have added a tidy middle level — Department › Group › Category — so you reach the right shelf in fewer clicks.

What changed

Where it helps, related categories now sit under a group landing page. For example, our larger AC/DC families group their single-output and multi-output versions together, so you can see the whole family at a glance and then step into the exact type you need.

Why it is better

• Shorter menus — the top level is no longer a wall of categories.
• Clearer routes — the group page shows what is inside before you commit to a click.
• Sharper filters — once you are in a category, the parametric search only offers options that actually apply.
